There's no point in talking green unless you are prepared to do something about it!
Investment in new machinery has led to a 20% decrease in our electrical consumption.
Now sourcing a new electrical supplier who produces green power.
Looking at reducing as much packaging as possible. This involves also sourcing the best courier to deliver the products safely.
Signed a new contract with our waste disposal company to recycle all of our recyclable waste.
50% of our wood waste is baled for animal use, the other 50% goes back to heat our factory.
Plans For the Future
Starting to work towards the FSC. accreditation ( very early days though !!!)
We have just registered on to www.greenachiever.co.uk website to re-evaluate how well we are doing.
